Am Prater | Prater Vienna 1020, Vienna
It was quite quiet when we visited and a several attractions were closed. The ferris wheel was a lot of fun.
Neat place to see. We had to because my boyfriend's last name is Prater. Cool Ferris wheel. I believe you can even have dinner on it. Have to make reservations.
You pay only for attractions you take. 5€ per person. Great experience. From the highest attractions beautiful view on the city
Who does not love a good ride and fun day out. The Prater is a well known Theme park! No tourist will come to Vienna and not go there once. You don't need to go on the rides, to enjoy the vibe this place has. It is so full of colour, options and food. Some of the best Austrian cuisine is to be found there
Really loved it here! However you have to pay per ride rather than just for entrance to Prater, which is great if you only want to do a few rides but can get pricey if you plan on spending a day there!
The Prater evolved over the years from a shady place of tricksters and drunks to a family oriented place of fun. While I personally don't like the kitschy fake facades, the Prater is a nice mix of tradition and also new attractions. And of course the green area around the Prater (behind the attractions) is just a wonderful place to relax or do sports.
Beautiful place full of fun rides and delicious food. I personally don't like the fact that you have to pay for using a restroom.
A must visit in Vienna! Had a great evening here! The rides are like any other fairground but that’s what is great about it. The big wheel gives you amazing views of the city. Also you must, must, must get a schnitzel at Prater!
It's not a visit to Vienna without visiting the Prater. It's an historical amusement park. You can simply walk around the park for free. The rides are pay as you go. It's a big area with lots of good rides and places to grab a bite to eat or drink. Can easily spend a whole day here.
Great park, so many rides, can't believe it isn't more publicised. We had a lovely afternoon just watching people on the rides, some.of them very scary but fun
Actually better than Disneyland according to me. This was my second time and I truly believe it. The public transport is great, the park is not overcrowded, the rides are diverse and perfect for everyone and the pricing is per ride, which is amazing. Definitely worth the visit.
Was lucky enough to visit whilst the Christmas decorations were still open. The wheel is definitely worth going on, and has a fantastic view. The Madam Tussauds wasn't great and I wouldn't go again
There is a lot to check out. Starting with great parks, roller coaster, restaurants, christmas market in the winter, gambling halls etc. Check this out! Summer is a bit better than winter!
It had its charm but it cannot really compete with modern theme parks. Most odlf the attractions are quite dated. Still small and large kids definitely enjoy it.
There are 1-2 cool attractions but overall I wasn't impressed, probably it's much more fun in summer. For insta shooting still a good place 😆ðŸ
I visited this place during the winter, it was the second day of Christmas. I was surprised it was open, although not all attractions and rides were working. We had a good time I tried a fee of the rides, but most of them were too small for me. Other than that a really fun place. I recommend a visit with or without children.
Great park! The ability to pay per attraction is very convenient, and it has a variety of attractions for kids and grown-up kids as well
Beautiful historical amusement park. O esse there in the winter when the rides were closed and the Christmas market was opened at night. It is free for you to roam around and that alone was a phenomenal experience. Definitely a wonderful place for photo shoots.
We visited Prater park during our trip to Vienna and it was a great experience!Although we got there at night, after a long walk of sightseeing, and there weren't a lot of people, the games and the lights and colours were magical. Most of the games cost about 5-10€ and the big wheel cost 12-13€ if I am not mistaken and you can enjoy the view from up there.
Lovely place! A must have if you visit Vienna! I had a lot of fun in here during my trip.
Big spacious fun theme park with additional green huge park with trees and sports related activities grounds. Lots of walking. Each ride separate price. Entrance free
It's so much fun! It has so many rides! I always enjoy it! Come here if you love amusement parks!!!
Prater was pricy, but amazing. It might not feature in the world's best 10 parks of its kind , but, enjoyed the rides and varieties of experience on offer in Vienna's oldest amusement park. Worth visiting, especially with Children.
Great amusement park. Unfortunately, half way closed during winter time but still worth a visit. Big variety of souvenir shops.
Came in the winter, when many attractions are closed. The park is big, but many attractions are repeated, and it was pretty empty, even on a Friday. I'd suggest coming during the summer!
it's a nice place to go, but it is just a fair ground if you look past the history of the place. the history was not especially obviously displayed or represented but it was a nice way to spend an afternoon and get out and about
Very lovely park! Cant say much about it. Ive seen nicer ones in Vienna. The theme park is cute) most of attraction are 5€ for a ride. We were there in beginning of March so most of the attractions were closed. But those who was working let us in even for 1 person which was very cool!
it will bring back the child in you. Me and my husband enjoyed the rides, mostly he did.Though some of the rides were closed..
A spooky experience walking through an almost deserted Prater in the twilight in early December. Giant effigies of clowns, ghost houses, rides carrying only a couple of people and mostly closed concession stands added to the strange atmosphere as the giant wheels slowly turned and the chairs of a ride rotated above us high in the air suspended from a gigantic column. All very Third Man.
This place is a must to see if you're visiting Vienna. Good access to the park with public transportation. Very kid friendly. The price of the attractions a bit high but you can buy bundle with up to 50% discount.
We were there on Christmas Day! There was also a small concert. It was really nice! The place is huge and it's nice to spend to spend some time there!
Good place to take your kids for nice rides. There is an ice cream shop at the entrance which serves great ice cream. Overall recommended if you are with family. Lone travellers can take skip
